I enjoy collaborating with artists working in traditional mediums, photography, and bodypainting when they need to work with a male figure model for a creative idea or practice. I’m often available for in-person modeling (primarily Annapolis, MD region); I also offer professionally-run virtual modeling for classes/groups and sometimes host my own online sessions for artists.

I am honored to be affiliated with DCAMC and my wonderful colleagues, including sometimes modeling with them as part of multi-model events such as the monthly Model Extravaganza or creative duo sessions.  I’m dual-vaccinated against COVID and accepting in-person figure/art modeling bookings in the Annapolis/DC/Baltimore area, subject to availability and particulars of the work needed. Feel free to inquire about any project idea or instructional need; I try to say ‘yes’ to anything that’s creative and in the scope of work I can do.

Working with a model online does not replace the experience of working in-person, but virtual sessions present their own unique opportunities and help artists to access diverse practice challenges.  In addition to modeling online for workshops and groups I still host my own open online sessions. Please check the DCAMC Model Calendar for any online sessions for which I’m modeling and have registration open to the general public. I can also be booked for private online sessions.

I have always been drawn to artistic endeavors and collaboration with other creatives. My professional modeling started in 2014, after a couple decades’ background in fine art photography. It began as a type of self-challenge after narrowly surviving cancer. I had beat the odds and survived, but was struggling to resume my passion for art. With encouragement and help of some incredibly talented bodypaint artists and photographers, I began exploring and developing my ability to contribute from the other side of the artist-model equation – first as ‘canvas’ for bodypaint projects then as figure model for fine art photography.  I began learning and adding life modeling for drawing/painting to my repertoire in 2016.

I feel so fortunate to be part of this collective effort to make virtual modeling work, to continue helping artists in their journeys, and to navigate change after change brought by the pandemic.
